Rapid prototyping
Bombay Metrics provides complete rapid prototyping solutions in various metals like aluminium, iron casting, stainless steel along with machined components in materials such as steel, aluminium, copper, brass and other specialty alloys.
Flow simulation
We have a team of engineers, as well as software tools, to perform mold flow simulations for high-pressure aluminium die casting, gravity die casting and iron casting. We also offer complete design and layout solutions for metal filling temperature, metal velocity, metal pressure, air entrapment, temperature solidification, hot spot location, porosity & shrinkage.
3D Scanning / 3D printing
On a global basis, Bombay Metrics has partnered with Faro Scanning laboratories to scan and convert a variety of components and miniatures into larger sizes. Our expert engineers then transform the scans into clean data for future use. Bombay Metrics also has alliances to print 3D plastic parts and our team is currently evaluating opportunities for printing metal components.
2D/3D designs
Our experts can convert older, hand-drawn 2D models into the latest design formats such as CAD or Solid Model. We can also perform the draft analysis for various processes like aluminium die casting, iron casting, investment casting and forging.
